About the event Did you destroy your friendships over an intense game of Monopoly?
Does placingdown the longest train in Ticket to Ride give you a sense of rush comparable to downing a whole pot of coffee?
Would you love to find someone, anyone to play a round of Uno with, but yourfamily banned it after you forked your uncle Pieter for laying down a +4?
Are you looking for a fun evening hanging out with and meeting likeminded poly or enm people?
If you answered yes to all of this, we’d love to have you at our upcoming game event in Utrecht (also sorry about your uncle Pieter.)
And if you only answered yes to the last question, you’re still more than welcome.
On February 26, the day of the event, we urge you to dust off your favorite board game and take it with you to Utrecht, location will be shared later.
Where we’ll be playing from 19.00 - 22.45. Bring your own snacks, band aids, drinks, plushies, DVD’s, hexes or whatever else you feel might be necessary to bring to a friendly game night.

About polyand broke We at polyand broke are all for inclusivity (we’re so inclusive, you don’t even have to be broke to be a part of poly and broke! ;p).
We really try to focus on creating a fun and safe space for people. So, it goes without saying that everyone is welcome, no matter gender identity, race, sexual orientation, age etc.
We do have a very strict ‘’no meanies allowed’’ but baddies sure are ;), policy, which we ensure through a RSVPlist. This means that you will have to answer a few questions on consent/respect before you can be approved by our staff.
We believe in the power of community. Poly and broke was founded on this belief.
REAL LIFE GAMEMODES
Augustus 2025
The second poly event, was another success!
The combination of street games much like we did as kids or hobbies like Scouting with popular culture like video games and television shows. With our self made slingshots, shooting corn (Because they are bio degradable). We played games like: Capture the flag, CSGO and Battle royale. Unfortunately we didn't have the time for all the gamemodes.
In between the games and during the potluck we had the time and space to connect and form connections. Some people came from far in order to find this community. Poly in society is still a taboo. There is still sound coming from within the community that they want to connect more, more events, more spaces, more people, more inclusivity. I hope this small initative, helps a bit.
Feeling grateful for the awesome people that showed up for both the games and the potluck. A big thank you to the volunteers and my good friends, without them none of this would have been possible.
With Poly and broke we try to create a space that does not price people out, is safe, fun and most of all encourages genuine connections. No taboo, just people.
